Hi, this is probably going to be the only posting you'll read from an American looking for a home in Taipei, not from a Taiwanese student looking for a home in Austin! I am a Hard-Working American Boy who will be in Taiwan for a year to do my doctoral dissertation's data gathering. I want to live by myself (no roommates) and am looking for a decent place at a reasonable price in the area of the Gongguan MRT, close to NTU, etc. I will be finding work teaching ESL/TOEFL/etc./maybe even Spanish to support myself while I'm in Taiwan. Any suggestions or referrals would be most appreciated; hooray for the Taiwanese Bamboo Telegraph System! It rocks!

I guess there are some Apartments for One Person on New Loft-Style Apartment in a New Building near Wanfang Hospital MRT. It is fully furnished with a NEW washer and dryer, fridge, TV, couch, 2 new ACs and a small kitchenette with a sink and one burner to cook on. The shower has massaging jets and is top of the line.
